- I graduated from Oklahoma State University with a B.S. in Sports Media in 2020.

- I graduated from Tulsa Community College with an A.A. in Electronic Broadcasting/Journalism in 2018.

Work Experience:

- I am a Production Editor for Forum Communications Company. I organize and oversee the production of four North Dakota newspapers, as well as other newspapers when needed. I also communicate with publishers and designers and use problem-solving strategies to make content fit within tight space and multiple deadline constraints daily to ensure page production goes smoothly, as well as edit dozens of stories daily to match AP style as well as the company’s story formatting and style.

- I was the Business Reporter for the Grand Forks Herald. I covered the business beat for the Grand Forks Herald, including creating content for the weekly business page, and creating midweek newspaper content. I also covered the Grand Forks County Commission, Grand Forks International Airport Authority, Grand Forks Growth Fund meetings and Grand Forks Jobs Development Authority.

- I was the sole News/Sports Reporter at the Guthrie News Leader, a weekly publication in Guthrie, OK. I wrote most, if not all, of the content in the newspaper, aside from the help of a few occasional freelancers. I took my own photos, aggregated my own sources and came up with ideas for all of my own stories. I also worked for the Guthrie News Leader's satellite upstart newspaper, The Edmond Way. I wrote additional materials when needed, including The Edmond Way's 2020 High School Football Preview.

- I was a Beat Reporter for The Daily O'Collegian (O'Colly) student newspaper at Oklahoma State University covering the Oklahoma State Men's Tennis and Equestrian teams. I wrote game recaps, sidebars and feature stories covering the teams.

- I covered the Stillwater High School baseball team for Pioneer Media, a student-run group in Oklahoma State's Sports Media department. I wrote game recaps, sidebars and feature stories about the team.

​

- I worked as a high school football stringer for the Stillwater News Press in Stillwater, Oklahoma while studying at Oklahoma State. I wrote game recaps and submitted them on a strict deadline for publication every weekend.

- I contributed The Pewter Plank on Fansided (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) writing SEO-oriented content that is designed to attract views from readers. In my first month, I wrote six articles that drew in over 130,000 clicks.

​

- In the Summer of 2019, I interned in the sports department at The Mountain Press newspaper in Sevierville, Tennessee. I covered the Tennessee Smokies MiLB baseball team, as well as writing stories about local sports. I conducted interviews in person and over the phone with amateur and professional athletes, coaches, managers, scouts and everyone in between for two months, writing 43 articles and taking all of my own photos.
