ABOUT ME

My name is Jacob Holley, and I am a Production Editor for Forum Communications Company. Before that, I was the Business Reporter for the Grand Forks Herald, which is owned by Forum. My first full-time job after graduating college was as the sole News/Sports Reporter for the Guthrie News Leader. I also wrote stories for its satellite upstart newspaper The Edmond Way. I graduated with a B.S. in Sports Media from Oklahoma State University in 2020. In the summer of 2019, I interned in the sports department at The Mountain Press newspaper in Sevierville, Tennessee. I served as an unofficial beat reporter writing the Tennessee Smokies MiLB baseball team and other local sports. I also served as a stringer for the Stillwater News Press covering high school football as well as other local sports, contributed to The Pewter Plank on Fansided writing SEO-oriented content about the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and covered OSU's Men's Tennis and Equestrian teams team for OSU's student newspaper The O'Colly. I grew up in a small town and learned to always maintain a high work ethic in order to achieve my goals. I am passionate about journalism and forging my path through the news world.
